


Natural Movement: Learn how to become a shadow
I cannot tell you how many times I’ve been asked the same question, from students to reporters. It usually goes something like this: “Why do I never see any animals when I go into the woods?” or “What can I do to see more wildlife?”
There are many factors at play. Animals are naturally wary of us, but the easiest thing to change—and one that will drastically increase your awareness of the wonderful wild world around you—is learning how to move properly.
During these three 2-hour classes, you will learn:
• The mechanics of the modern human walk and the damage it does to our bodies.
• The principles of natural movement and how to integrate them into our daily lives.
• Why footwear is crucial. Most modern shoes are akin to a coffin for your feet. I will recommend the best types of footwear for various conditions.
I will also provide exercises that you can continue to practice long after the class, allowing you to condition your muscles for even greater benefits.
