The Awakening
Hello everyone! I hope this finds you well, and somewhere touched by fall, my favorite season. As a kid from the East Coast, autumn has always felt like home to me: crisp air, warm colors, and the quiet wisdom that reminds us to listen, learn, and begin again.
My father taught that true wisdom comes from carrying an empty cup, stepping out the door each day ready to learn from anyone and anything. Whether it’s a child, an elder, or the land itself, the world always has something to teach. Each time I pick up a tool, I feel the memory of the first time it was placed in my hand. These gifts from my father continue to shape my life.
